Bailey is a Philly-based performer and educator focused on creating work that challenges the conventions of traditional theatre often through silliness and absurdity. They are artistically interested in everyday queerness, intimacy, platonic relationships, matching, what qualifies as performance, glitter, and social media rituals. They have a BFA in Acting from University of the Arts (class of 2016) They are a previous company member of Plant Me Here, Ethos Physical Theatre Co., and The Mira Treatman Dance Ensemble. Bailey is an educator at Wolf Performing Arts Center, Theatre Horizon, PHIT, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights. In the classroom, Bailey strives to teach self awareness, trans sensitivity, and social awareness through art making. Their teaching CV is available here.
